The problem falls between teams.
Everyone owns a part, but nobody has the capacity to take on the whole problem.
We bring together knowledge from Operations and IT, work through the dependencies and carry the agreed solution through to delivery.
For medium-sized and large organisations
We build internal solutions where a process outgrows existing systems and crosses team boundaries. From understanding the problem to production — with a plan for ongoing maintenance.
The first conversation is free. A brief outline is enough.
01 · How we help
When everyday work needs more than your existing systems can provide.
Everyone owns a part, but nobody has the capacity to take on the whole problem.
We bring together knowledge from Operations and IT, work through the dependencies and carry the agreed solution through to delivery.
They retype data, reconcile statuses and handle exceptions by hand. A temporary workaround has become the process.
We connect systems and automate work around the way the process actually runs, including its exceptions.
Getting an up-to-date view consumes time in both Operations and IT.
We bring data together in dashboards and operational tools, providing the view people need without adding every feature to the source systems.
A tool built within Operations is useful, but its security, quality and maintenance have not kept pace with its importance.
We assess what is worth keeping and prepare the solution to run within your organisation’s environment and standards.
Everyday work depends on warehouse scanners, printers, sensors and other devices.
We build applications and integrations that connect software with hardware, designed for the conditions people actually work in.
Large datasets, IoT streams or a migration between systems require control at every step.
We design batch and stream processing, and migrations with checks for completeness, correctness and a controlled cutover.
We can make the biggest difference when the problem matters to operational performance and someone on your side can help us reach the process, people and data.
02 · Ownership
We combine process discovery, architecture, experimentation and delivery. You work directly with the experts building the solution.
We get to know the people, data, exceptions and constraints. Together, we define the outcome and how to assess it. You do not need a finished specification.
We choose the smallest experiment that can resolve an important unknown. If further investment is not justified, we say so.
We agree who will own and maintain the solution. Your IT standards and the capabilities of the team taking over inform our decisions from the start.
We do not provide staff augmentation or developers by the hour. We take on a defined problem, from understanding it to delivering the agreed scope.
Experience we bring
Our team’s experience spans systems for logistics, manufacturing, construction and healthcare, including work with petabyte-scale datasets and IoT data streams.
03 · Working together
Each stage has its own goal and deliverable. You can stop there or hand the next stage to your own team.
From 10 000 EUR
We investigate the process, establish the cost of the problem, identify constraints and key unknowns, and compare possible solutions.
A process map, a baseline for measuring impact, options and an experiment plan. An initial agreement on maintenance.
We build a prototype or a working part of the solution. We test it with users, using agreed data and conditions relevant to the process.
Working evidence, measured results and a recommendation. You know what has been validated and what still needs testing.
We build and integrate the solution, meet the agreed production requirements and prepare users for everyday work.
A deployed system, automated tests, observability and documentation. Agreed deployment and incident procedures.
Your team takes over, or ANSLAN maintains and develops the solution within an agreed scope. Preparation starts in the first stage.
Code, documentation, operating procedures and transferred knowledge. Clear responsibilities for the system’s ongoing operation.
The price depends on the number of systems, data availability, the number of departments involved and security requirements.
During prototyping and production development, iterations usually last one week and never more than two. Each ends with a review of a working increment or experiment result.
Need a head start for your own team? We can investigate a difficult problem, build a prototype and hand over the foundations for production development in-house.
Time ranges are indicative and apply to individual stages. We agree the schedule with access to environments, data and people in mind.
04 · Production standards
We establish requirements at the start: security, performance, reliability, scalability and operation. They reflect the actual workload and the importance of the process.
TDD underpins our work on application logic, complemented by integration tests and tests of critical workflows.
Logs, metrics, tracing and alerts help identify problems and understand their causes.
We work with your change and incident management processes, environment requirements and arrangements for IT to take over.
We document shortcuts taken in prototypes. Before production, we remove them or agree their consequences and how they will be managed.
Confidentiality and data security are priorities. We agree access, working environments and approved AI tools. We can work on your equipment and use models you provide. We do not send confidential data or code to unapproved services.
The same principles apply during prototyping.
05 · Team and tools
We are a stable, close-knit team of a few people. Together, we have the skills to investigate the problem, design the solution and deliver it to production. For the most demanding cases, we bring in limited support from trusted experts in specific fields.
Shared patterns and components
Automated builds and deployment
Tests and documentation alongside code
Specialised AI agents
Agents support system analysis, development, testing and documentation. People remain responsible for decisions, verification and the outcome.
The problem determines the solution. Sometimes an integration, a simple script or a process change is enough.
We recover system knowledge, fill gaps in documentation and tests, and organise repositories and working practices. We build a shared knowledge base for the team and its agents, introduce automated checks and add AI-assisted code review.
We assess the results on a real change to your system. If the current technology is holding development back, we evaluate whether a migration is justified and what it should cover.
Let’s talk about your system06 · Technology
We consider your environment, standards and skills. Your team can take over the solution, or ANSLAN can continue looking after it.
For integrations and migrations, we also work with experts in technologies already used in your organisation.
07 · About ANSLAN
ANSLAN exists for problems that matter to Operations and go beyond the capabilities of one system or the remit of one team. We combine working with people in the process with designing and building technology.
Founder
Sławek Łukjanow combines experience as a developer, architect, CTO and technical programme leader with practical knowledge of Operations. Over more than twenty years, he has worked on systems for logistics, manufacturing, construction and healthcare.
He understands processes through the people who work in them, and systems through their code. At ANSLAN, he is responsible for the way we work, the architecture and the technical direction of projects.
08 · Contact
The first conversation is free. We want to understand the situation and see whether we can help. A brief outline is enough — no specification or presentation needed.
Email or call Sławek directly.
Start with a general outline. We will agree how to exchange confidential information before going into detail.
We work with organisations across all EU countries, the United Kingdom, Norway and Iceland, with a particular focus on the Nordic countries.
